When I first began living in Rome, I had brought with me enough supplies to last me for one whole year–that’s right. I stocked up! The thing was that…I didn’t return to the US until two years later. So, I had to figure out where to get hair and makeup products…and at a reasonable cost (a.k.a. cheap). 😉

I have to give a massive hug to my friend Alexandria Maloney for telling me where to go when I was desperately searching for products! 🙂

    Hi there!
I’m currently living in Rome and I’m running out of products.
I was considering ordering from Amazon UK. Although I hate being around Termini, I’ll go and see if Astri is still open.

Somethings may be good to order via Amazon, because they may have better prices. At Astri, however, you will find most, if not all, the products that you need. The staff is super-awesome, also!! 🙂 Happy shopping! Also, Astri opens wicked early, like 9am!

How is the sephora here? I just arrived and the plane lost my luggage and I would just go to sephora, I want to make sure they have a somewhat decent range of makeup for people of color?

Sephora is Sephora! 🙂 I would suggest going to Kiko Milano, which is on the same level as Sephora in Termini Station. Kiko is less expensive, caters to people of colour and is very good quality. Plus, the staff is pretty awesome. It’s always busy in there, so that can be a bit overwhelming. There are other locations, however! Also, remember prices are often “equal” to or more than what you pay in the US. That is, if you pay $10 for something, then you will likely pay €10 or more for it. Wish you the best! 🙂
